Elon Musk, CEO of Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:SPCX), has confirmed that the company plans to launch NVIDIA Corp's (NASDAQ:NVDA) AI computing system into space by next year. In a recent interaction on the social media platform X, Musk expressed strong confidence in the impending launch of the Nvidia VR NLV72 AI computers. He referenced a prior statement where he mentioned the goal of putting a space-optimized version of NVIDIA's Vera Rubin NVL72 system in orbit by the fourth quarter of 2027, with significant scaling anticipated in 2028.

Musk's comments came in response to a user discussing the potential for data centers in space by 2035, contingent upon resolving cooling issues. In this context, Musk reiterated his belief in the feasibility of launching these AI systems soon.
In addition to the AI project, SpaceX CFO Bret Johnsen disclosed that the company has secured a $13 billion annual recurring revenue agreement with an unnamed firm for compute capabilities. SpaceX already has partnerships with other major companies, including Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOGL) and Anthropic. Earlier, Musk mentioned that there is a possibility of SpaceX achieving $1 trillion in revenue by 2030.
Furthermore, SpaceX recently introduced its fourth-generation Starlink router, which offers enhanced speed and connectivity features, including water resistance and Wi-Fi 7 technology.
On the stock market, SPCX shares experienced a decline of 1.73%, closing at $148.59 during overnight trading.
