iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 Released with New Features and Installation Guide

Apple has officially released iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 as of September 14. The latest updates bring a range of new features, including an AI-enhanced Siri, a redesigned Screen Time app, customization options for Liquid Glass, Apple Handoff, and enhanced Apple Intelligence integration.

To install iOS 27 on your iPhone, follow these steps: open Settings, tap General, select Software Update, then choose Update Now when the iOS 27 update appears. For iPad users, the installation process is the same as on the iPhone.

The following iPhones are compatible with iOS 27: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone SE (2nd generation and later), and the entire iPhone 15 series. Notably, some new Siri features will only be available on newer models equipped with Apple Intelligence, such as the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.

Compatible iPads include: iPad Pro (4th generation and later), iPad Air (4th generation and later), iPad (9th generation and later), and iPad mini (6th generation and later). Features that require Apple Intelligence will be accessible only on selected models including the 5th generation of iPad Pro and Air.

Key enhancements in iOS 27 include the updated Siri AI, new Liquid Glass customization features, improved lock screen options, a Write with Siri function, and updated support for RCS chats when connecting with Android devices.
