The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 offers a 13% increase in CPU performance, a 44% enhancement in GPU performance, and 40% improved power efficiency. Additionally, its Hexagon NPU sees a 35% boost in performance and up to 33% better performance per watt.
In comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset features a 10% gain in CPU performance alongside a 37% improvement in power efficiency. Its Adreno GPU provides a 35% performance increase and 40% greater efficiency. The Hexagon NPU in this model offers a 14% performance uptick and 20% better performance per watt.
Qualcomm is also emphasizing advancements in graphics and upscaling, featuring its Adreno Neural Fusion technology. This mobile AI-based super-resolution technology integrates AI-driven super resolution, frame generation, and neural processing, which enhances image quality and gameplay fluidity.
Both the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 will be featured in upcoming flagship smartphones from brands such as HONOR, iQOO, Motorola, OnePlus, OPPO, REDMI, RedMagic, vivo, and Xiaomi.
