Built with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform and a VisionBoost D8 chipset, the POCO F9 Ultra offers impressive performance, handling multitasking with ease and delivering gaming capabilities of up to 185 fps. The phone excels in everyday use, from streaming to gaming, supported by an 8,050 mAh battery that promises extended usage.

Users report up to two days of battery life under balanced settings and almost a day and a half during high-performance use, thanks to the HyperCharge system, which supports both 100 W wired and 50 W wireless charging, along with reverse charging options.

The device features a 6.9-inch display with a 185 Hz POCO HyperRGB panel, achieving peak brightness levels of up to 4,500 nits, and excels in delivering vibrant colors. Additionally, the new Xiaomi Vision Care feature aids in reducing eye strain by adjusting screen settings dynamically throughout the day.

Available in Dark Cherry and Black, the POCO F9 Ultra offers multiple configurations, including models with up to 1 TB of storage. The design incorporates a premium metal finish that resists fingerprints and smudges, ensuring an attractive appearance.

Audio quality stands out with symmetrical stereo speakers and Sound by Bose technology, delivering a sound experience that rivals portable speakers in clarity and punch. This extends to video playback, where dialogue is clear and audible.

The camera system has also seen enhancements, featuring a 200 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32 MP selfie camera. The main camera excels in good lighting conditions, producing crisp images with accurate colors. However, low-light performance can struggle without flash support, though the 20x AI Ultra Zoom function maintains detail at distance.

Creative features such as live cinematography add unique options for capturing photos, despite being somewhat complex to navigate. On the gaming front, the POCO F9 Ultra performs well, although some frame rate issues were noted during high-intensity play.

Despite a few shortcomings, particularly in the camera's low-light performance, the POCO F9 Ultra stands out among its peers, combining impressive battery life, robust design, and superior audio quality at a competitive price point. It presents itself as an appealing choice for anyone in the market for a flagship smartphone.
