This innovation aims to increase cell capacities beyond 10,000mAh, with devices like the Huawei Enjoy 100 anticipated to feature this technology.
Double-layer coating battery technology involves applying electrode materials in two distinct layers rather than one, which optimizes performance in several ways: it offers higher energy density, allows for faster charging, and prolongs battery life. The bottom layer provides stable capacity with high-compaction density, while the top layer enables rapid lithium-ion movement to enhance charging speeds.
This structural design can improve both the charging performance and durability of smartphones, as well as enhance safety by addressing thermal management issues.
