The Core Series 3 processors are designed to benefit schools, small businesses, and general consumers, with over 70 product designs expected from various manufacturers in the coming months. Compared to five-year-old PCs, these processors offer substantial performance boosts: up to 47% better single-thread performance, 41% better multi-thread performance, and up to 2.8 times improved GPU AI performance.

Noteworthy features include support for AI workloads with up to 40 teraflops per second (TOPS), two integrated Thunderbolt™ 4 ports, and compatibility with Intel® Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth® 6. The Core Series 3 is optimized for long battery life, achieving up to 2.1 times faster creation and productivity rates, 64% lower power consumption, and up to 2.7 times AI GPU performance compared to the previous generation Intel Core 7 150U processors.

Beyond traditional computing, the Core Series 3 processors extend their capabilities to essential edge applications like robotics, smart buildings, and point-of-sale systems, balancing performance, AI capabilities, and energy efficiency. When compared to Nvidia's Jetson Orin Nano, the Intel Core 7 350 shows up to 1.5 times higher object detection performance, 1.9 times faster image classification, and 2.2 times greater performance in video analytics.

Performance can vary based on use, configuration, and other factors, according to Intel's performance index.
