Targeted primarily at enthusiasts, gamers, and mobile workstation users, the Core Ultra 200HX Plus series includes the Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus and Intel Core Ultra 7 270HX Plus. These processors offer slightly higher clock speeds and additional optimizations compared to the standard 200HX models.
Intel highlighted that the Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus can deliver up to 8% faster gaming performance in select titles and up to 7% improved single-thread performance. For users upgrading from older devices, Intel claims these new processors can provide more than 62% faster gaming performance and over 30% faster single-thread performance due to architectural advancements and increased clock speeds.
