The new mobile lineup includes Intel Core Ultra X9 and X7 processors, which feature high-performance integrated Intel Arc graphics. These processors are designed for multitasking in demanding applications such as gaming and productivity on the go. The leading SKUs offer up to 16 CPU cores, 12 Xe-cores, and 50 NPU TOPS—promising up to 60% improved multithread performance, more than 77% enhanced gaming performance, and up to 27 hours of battery life. Additionally, the Series 3 family encompasses traditional Intel Core processors, aimed at mainstream mobile systems, thus allowing for more efficient laptop designs at lower costs.

In a significant expansion, the Series 3 edge processors are now also certified for embedded and industrial applications, boasting features like extended temperature ratings, deterministic performance, and round-the-clock reliability. These processors are designed to provide enhanced performance in critical edge AI tasks, delivering up to 1.9 times higher performance for large language models, 2.3 times better performance per watt on video analytics, and 4.5 times higher throughput for vision language action models. The integrated AI acceleration offers improved total cost of ownership (TCO) compared to traditional multi-chip CPU and GPU setups.

Pre-orders for consumer laptops equipped with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors will commence on January 6, 2026, with global availability starting on January 27, 2026. Additional system designs are expected to be released throughout the first half of the year. Edge systems powered by these processors are projected to be available beginning in the second quarter of 2026.
