The new division will leverage the technologies, systems, and operational experience developed through Vast's Haven-1 program, which is expected to launch next year. The company intends to create a scalable path for lunar infrastructure, scientific discovery, and long-term human exploration.
As part of its efforts, Vast will support NASA's plan to increase lunar activities, collaborating with American industry to deliver payloads to both the lunar surface and lunar orbit on a continuous basis.
Max Haot, CEO of Vast, emphasized the company’s capabilities, stating, "Vast has the manufacturing capability, flight heritage, and technical expertise needed to help build humanity’s first lunar outpost.
