The global variant of the X Fold6 differs slightly from its Chinese counterpart, particularly in battery capacity. The Chinese model includes a 7,000 mAh battery, while the global version has a 6,900 mAh BlueVolt battery with support for 80 W wired and 40 W wireless charging.

In terms of dimensions, the X Fold6 measures 9.4 mm (0.37 inches) when folded and 4.4 mm (0.17 inches) when unfolded, weighing approximately 228 grams (8.04 ounces). In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is lighter and thinner, at 8.9 mm (0.35 inches) when folded and 4.1 mm (0.16 inches) when unfolded, weighing 215 grams (7.58 ounces).

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super chipset, coupled with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. It runs on OriginOS 7 for Fold out of the box and Vivo promises five years of major OS updates (up to Android 23) along with seven years of security patches until 2033. This support appears to be slightly less comprehensive compared to Samsung’s offering, which provides seven years for both OS upgrades and security patches.

On the camera front, the X Fold6 features a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera setup: a 200 MP main camera, a 50 MP APO telephoto lens, and a 50 MP ultra-wide shooter. For selfies and video chats, it has a 20 MP camera on both the main and cover displays.

The device includes an 8.02-inch Zeiss Master 8T LTPO main display with a resolution of 2504 x 2312 pixels, and a cover display measuring 6.51 inches at 2528 x 1120 pixels. Both displays support a 120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 5,000 nits, along with HDR Vivid, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision certifications.

Additional features comprise dual stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, an imaging chip V3+, NFC, and IPX8/IPX9/IP5X water and dust resistance. The X Fold6 is also compatible with the Vivo Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2, which achieves a 200 mm equivalent focal length for photography and videography. The extender measures 96 mm (3.78 inches) in length and weighs 153 grams (5.4 ounces).

Available in black and blue, the Vivo X Fold6 is priced starting at €2,199 and is currently offered in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland through Vivo’s official website.
